Hi, I’m Jen, a Cleveland-based travel blogger, photographer, and storyteller. I created Local Love and Wanderlust to inspire everyday adventure—whether that means exploring our hometown, discovering hidden gems around Ohio, or planning an unforgettable trip across the U.S.
This isn’t the blog of a full-time traveler. My husband Nathan and I are a 40-something couple with careers, a home, and an insatiable love of travel. We share real-world travel tips, thoughtfully designed itineraries, and local experiences that help others plan meaningful getaways near and far.

Authentic, Thoughtful Content
My priority is to provide value to my readers through authentic content based on real experiences.
When you work with me, you’re getting more than just pretty pictures. I immerse myself in each destination or experience so I can share honest, story-driven content that truly connects. I only write about places, products, and experiences I’ve personally tried—or genuinely plan to—always in my own voice and from my own perspective.
To maintain that trust with my audience, I do not accept guest posts, pre-written blogs, or partnerships that require me to promote something I wouldn’t feel confident recommending. I may include a link to something I haven’t personally experienced yet, but only if it aligns with my brand and is something I would book or use myself.
I also follow all FTC guidelines for sponsored and gifted content. Transparency matters to me, and I only work with partners who respect that. If a stay, experience, or product is gifted or paid for, my audience will know.
