Cleveland Museum of Art

Cleveland Museum of Art

I had just become a member of the Cleveland Museum of Art for the first time before the pandemic happened, and while I am saddened to miss out on weekends of exploring our incredible, world-class, free museum I find myself exploring their website when in need of a good dose of art in my life. The museums’ collection is online and free to view so you can admire old favorites and add new pieces you’ll want to admire in person when the museum reopens.

Cleveland Museum of Natural History

Did you know the Museum of Natural History also has several of Ohio’s native species that call the museum home? The museum has a page set up with all their museum at-home activities from Museum Mondays where you can virtually tour galleries with their museum educators – great for kids! There’s Wildlife Wednesdays where their animal experts choose a different native Ohio species to talk about. Then there is Scientist Saturdays for those who want to know more about the science and research the museum does.

I have been really enjoying watching Michael Symon whip up recipes on Instagram. He starts right around dinner time and I will sit there and watch the entire episode. Love learning new tips and seeing how others cook, especially a local celebrity chef!

Love Caesar Salad? Here’s another Cleveland spot Love Caesar Salad? Here’s another Cleveland spot to try!

✨Be sure to like & save this post to remember to visit ✨

We finally tried @lindeyslakehouseflats and I was happy to see a Caesar 🥗 on the menu, my favorite salad 🙌🏼 and now on my list of great Caesar Salads to get in Cleveland. (DM me for the full list of you want it)

The salad was coated in dressing, the croutons were crunchy but not too crunchy, and the slice of cheese on top was a fun addition. I ordered mine with chicken added, perfect!

In addition to tasty food, they’ve got a huge patio space, killer views of the Cuyahoga River, and if you’re lucky one of the huge ships will come through during your meal, always fun to watch.

Where should I try a Caesar Salad next? Follow me for more Cleveland & travel adventures!

I was so excited for the opening of this lovely cafe. The former Vitrolite Tile showroom had such unique elements you’ll see blended into the modern cafe and the food was quite good!

This all day cafe has Italian-inspired cafe dishes paired with coffee and spritz beverages and includes an aperitivo hour at 4pm that includes some bar snacks that switch up every couple days, a perfect start to your evening or an after work treat.

Check out their website for more details on parking and menu items.

6 epic and easy views you can see in Rocky Mountai 6 epic and easy views you can see in Rocky Mountain National Park!

✨Save for future visit✨

These epic views deliver with minimal effort because sometimes you don’t want to hike a few miles to be rewarded with breathtaking scenes.

📍Alluvial Fan: this spot has a very interesting history you can read about on site, it’s also very relaxing to listen to the rushing waters.

📍Hiking Bear Lake to Nymph Lake & beyond. It’s an easy hike depending on the season. We had partial snow so we rented spikes and poles. The views on the way up are dreamy. You can continue past Nymph to several other lakes if you’re up for it.

📍Sprague Lake is just a 30 minute drive from the park entrance and one of our favorite spots. Epic sunrises nature, and mountains-reflecting-in-water views.

📍Moraine Park is huge and within the National Park boundaries. The views are vast.

📍Driving Trail Ridge Road will take you as far as 12,000 feet above sea level 😳 with many stops along the way, this is a great way to enjoy the park. During winter it’s closed and opens gradually through mid- May once the snow melts enough.
