Virtual Cleveland Experience: Museums

Cleveland Museum of Art
I had just become a member of the Cleveland Museum of Art for the first time before the pandemic happened, and while I am saddened to miss out on weekends of exploring our incredible, world-class, free museum I find myself exploring their website when in need of a good dose of art in my life. The museums’ collection is online and free to view so you can admire old favorites and add new pieces you’ll want to admire in person when the museum reopens.

Cleveland Museum of Natural History
Did you know the Museum of Natural History also has several of Ohio’s native species that call the museum home? The museum has a page set up with all their museum at-home activities from Museum Mondays where you can virtually tour galleries with their museum educators – great for kids! There’s Wildlife Wednesdays where their animal experts choose a different native Ohio species to talk about. Then there is Scientist Saturdays for those who want to know more about the science and research the museum does.

Learn Recipes from Cleveland’s Iron Chef Michael Symon
I have been really enjoying watching Michael Symon whip up recipes on Instagram. He starts right around dinner time and I will sit there and watch the entire episode. Love learning new tips and seeing how others cook, especially a local celebrity chef!
