The Moorten Botanical Gardens has been on my Palm Springs bucket list for a while now.
Boasting over 3000 plant species, this is every garden lovers dream. In short, if you’re a plant lover, enjoy peaceful strolls through nature, looking for a great photo op or an inexpensive thing to do while in town this is it. I was thrilled to scratch this off my list this past fall. With tickets at $5 a piece, it’s an affordable and beautiful way to spend part of your day in Palm Springs.
In addition to the beautiful landscape, the plants are separated by desert regions from around the world offering delight and amazement to young and old who roam through the gardens. During your stroll through the beautiful, alien-like landscape you’ll come across the Worlds First Cactarium filled with unique and rare plants within a greenhouse dome which provides the perfect lighting for photographs. It’s not hard to see why this is an Instagram hotspot.
