Gatlinburg Pancake Restaurants: 3 You Need To Try
If you are planning an epic trip to Gatlinburg, you’re going to need to know what pancake restaurants to visit. It can be overwhelming to choose one when visiting a tourist-heavy town that is known for pancake breakfasts.

Crockettâs 1875 Breakfast Camp

Why Try Them? Huge pancakes, modern historic decor, fun menu
This restaurant was high on my list from the first moment I saw their huge, puffy Aretha Frankenstein Pancakes on someone’s Instagram post. These inch-or-so-tall pancakes instantly had me intrigued, and they did not disappoint.
When we arrived there was a line of people out the door, I was concerned as we were racing the clock to fit in as much park time as we could before some storms rolled in that evening. To our delight, the line only took the 15-20 minutes we were quoted and the food service followed suit.
Of course, I ordered the Aretha Frankenstein Pancakes! My husband ordered the Crockett’s Thick French Toast. It was the perfect sweet treat to start our first day in Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountain off right. Items I would order if we had more time: Waffle of Insane Greatness, a Fried Cinnamon Roll, the Crockett’s Breakfast Quesadilla, and maybe one of the Hungry Hunters Huntcamp Skillets – an assortment of food served on a huge skillet, so fun!

Log Cabin Pancake House

Why Try Them? huge free parking lot! quick service, delicious menu
This pancake restaurant is a few blocks off the main strip in Gatlinburg and they have a huge parking lot that is free for customers! The inside is very rustic styled and huge, perfect for taking on tons of visitors and large groups. The guests moved quickly so don’t get discouraged by a longer line.
I decided to get something with eggs on our visit as we had a full day ahead of us in Great Smoky Mountain, which would help with energy… of course, my dish also came with pancakes! I ordered an omelet with cheese and sausage served with 3 pancakes. My husband ordered the Wild Blueberry Pancakes which were served covered in powdered sugar, blueberries inside and out, and blueberry syrup.

Pancake Pantry

Why Try Them? Tennesseeâs first pancake restaurant, central located, also serves lunch
I’ll admit, this restaurant wasn’t even on our radar as I had another spot in mind. The day was rainy, we were not feeling the other choice, and saw a line out the door and decided that meant it was good so we decided to give it a try. Located at the entrance of The Village, a charming and whimsical shopping village in the middle of Gatlinburg’s main street.
To enter, you wait in line until a host or hostess calls for your party size. The line moved fast, which seems common in this tourist-heavy town. I ordered the same items I had at the Log Cabin Pancake House and they were pretty good and served quickly. This was our last stop in Gatlinburg before heading to our next destination so the quick service was appreciated.
